There are two types of rubbing alcohol, one is 70 % isopropanol, the other is 99 % isopropanol. I'v used the latter version at the colddest temperature nature can throw at us, not only for cleaning windshields but also to squirt it (with a small syringe) into frozen doorlocks on cars. Excellent to have around.

That would not resolve anything, in my humble opinion. We would still have the same amount of words only in a big lump and would lose the spontaneity we enjoy now. No, self-control is the answer IMHO. Quoting only a short line of what was said before and speaking in telegram style. That is what I would lke to recommend. It's not the information we need to curtail but the wordiness, eh! Cheers etc - George of Scaramouche

Sounds just like the things I can buy up here but haven't seen anywhere else. Besides as a de-watering device (it sucks up the contents of a bottle of wine in one stroke) and to squirt kids with, it can also be used as a fire extinguisher. I got mine mounted with a clip (came with the unit) on the wall in the head and there is of course plenty of water handy to suck up and squirt at a run-away fireplace (yes, I have one and this time of year it gets used daily with wood or coal) George of Scaramouche, Lake Ontario
