Do you bring it right up so the top gun'l >rests on the transom? =============================================================== That is the all the time position, the weight of the boat and motor hold it away from the transom.

Re: TWL: experience with Aquadrive or other systems?

Sea trials, still underway, indicate very little vibration, actually none, at cruise 15-16knts and top speed 23knts. Sole, engine room bulkheads and hull interior over prop are insulated with Soundown products, resulting in surprisingly quiet ride.

Of course you will get more speed at the top end with smaller wheels but you will achieve trawler speed at lower quieter RPM. . site=steering&type=us&library=1025 and download "Hydraulic Steering Selection Guide Rev 13" (in the top line on that page), you may find some useful information. If you have Teleflex helms, you could email their tech support for assistance.

Check their website. There are now more sites with passwords than there used to be, but we can still almost always connect with it somewhere, or add range to a marina's wifi. And all you do to hook it up is to locate it up on top of something and plug it into 12V. The rest is just setting up your computer.
