Pete you don't say where you are located, however try giving these
folks in Baltimore a call. You will probably have to buy a larger
piece than you need, but they will cut it to your specs. If they
don't have exactly what you want they may be able to direct you. I
used them for a couple of odd items, such as a solid stainless rod
for my old Ideal windlass.

Hi, I'm looking for a simple diagram for a steering system - One manual pump to 2 rams, with bypass. Would like minimal number of connections possible. Thanks, Paul L. lovemountain(at)shaw.ca
Teleflex used to have useful information on their website, but now it
seems that following the links for hydraulic steering will only lead
to frustration (and info on mechanical steering).
However, if you go to http://www.teleflexmarine.com/cgi-bin/library.cgi?site=steering&type=us&library=1025
and download "Hydraulic Steering Selection Guide Rev 13" (in the top
line on that page), you may find some useful information. If you have
Teleflex helms, you could email their tech support for assistance.
