I have been using Verizon cell phones for years but am getting tired of the
poor coverage we have at our club in a suburb of Baltimore. It's time to
switch. So my question is which provider other than Verizon provides
reasonable coverage along the ICW? I'm looking for recommendations. Thanks

Nice to see you the other day outside Wilmington, DE. The dinghy stayed on
top of the van for the whole trip to VT!

I don't think you will do better than Verizon when traveling. I suspect you
are in a valley of coverage where you are docked, but while traveling, we
have always had better coverage with Verizon than other cruisers with
competing carriers. On the other hand, if you are not cruising, get a short
term contract with the server whom most use locally.

A few years ago we changed from Nextel to Verizon for other issues, but
were more satisfied with service from Verizon.
