I recently repowered with 370 cummins engines and am having problems

reaching maximum RPM the props are now 4 bladed 28 x 27 and I am within 200
RPMS of reaching 3000 RPMS. Can someone with a like powered 46 Grand Banks
supply me with there specs. Thanks in advance

Dick........repitch to 26" and you will get up to 3000 RPM.
I would hate to see you do that to new wheels for you will wreck the
efficiency for you will no longer have a true pitch. If you put on new 28 X
26's you would go faster than with the repitched props, for they can only
twist the outer 1/3 of the blade. Who recommended that size wheel?????
Will Cummins OK the RPM for purposes of Warranty??
Will you do alot of high speed running? Do the engines smoke? Of course you
will get more speed at the top end with smaller wheels but you will achieve
trawler speed at lower quieter RPM.
