our blog is messinginboats.com but it doesn't deal with anything technical. We upgraded wifi by buying a WirieAP. Check their website. There are now more sites with passwords than there used to be, but we can still almost always connect with it somewhere, or add range to a marina's wifi. And all you do to hook it up is to locate it up on top of something and plug it into 12V. The rest is just setting up your computer.
