This was then "sandwiched" together with an additional top board until the silicone cured. I.e., A sheet of polyethylene to act as a release, the screen on it, the template on next, the silicone applied near the edges next, the clear 3/8 tubing laid in next and a final board on top to compress it all together until cured. Trim when finished.

Similarly, when the hot water is withdrawn from the tank from the top, a distinct thermocline moves up the tank so that when you run out of hot water, you run out all of a sudden. So I'd guess that the HX coil is heating only the top of the tank. Dave and Marie Ross Miss Jackie II Tiger 41 Sundeck Reston, Virginia Docked in Kent Narrows, Maryland

Fred, At $50 a pop and 4 tanks It can be done cheaper. For a surefire method to avoid fuel spitting over the side from the vent lines see our web page.

TWL: Wallas Diesel Stove

When you close the top (which is glass/ceramic) with the heater option cover, a small blower comes on--and it functions as a heater. If two burners are all you need--and about 6,000 BTU of heat, I would say its a great stove. Acts more like a ceramic cook top--a bit slow to heat and retains the temp. In a larger boat I would prefer propane. Bob Austin

Seems the top , aft, port side of the transmission has three openings 1 with a little loose floppy cap that cannot be easily removed, I assume is the breather hole, 2 is a threaded square topped bolt that when removed reveals a small spring but no tranny fluid and the third is also a ??? bolt/cap screw that defies easy removal.

For example it has the film frame counter window on the top plate instead of the base, so you don't have to worry about it when you're pounding on those walnuts... Best regards, Robert Bryett, Sydney, Australia. mailto:rbryett@mail.com

I currently have a soft top on my flybridge, farily recent, but in So Fl after 3 or 4 years they start falling apart. when that happened on my previous boat, a 37' express, i decided to make a new top using starboard. it came out pretty nice, the edges where bent down along the frame just like a soft bimini.

On the other hand a good professional will not only teach you a lot, but make sure the boat arrives in top shape. One day in Mexico I was talking with the crew who was varnishing the rails on a boat while waiting out gale force winds. They were not the owners, but delivary crew and wanted the boat to be in top condition when it arrived in San Diego.
