My friend pat poses the following question;
Jim,

Are there any flat panel LCD monitors suitable in a marine application

We are using two of the Samsung 150MP 15" LCD with a TV tuner built in
they work fine. They have changed them and they have a new model number but
you can still find both for sale on the web. I like the dual purpose ability
that they give you. You can also go to any computer store and find lots to
choose from. One thing to look for is a VESA compatible mount and that is a
four hole bolt pattern on the back of the screen that you use to mount the
unit to a bulkhead or counter top. www.ergotron.com has a huge selection of
these mounts available. I hope that this helps her out.
