Plastic Strips?
Thu, Jan 14, 2010 4:33 PM
On our sundeck trawler I have plastic strips that our sliding hatch on the hard-top slides on, this is the sliding hatch where you access the top of the sundeck to retrieve the dink. The strips are 2-1/8 wide and 1/4" thick and are made out of a hard white plastic.

My experience two days ago with Penetrol in Interlux Boot Top was great. Will do a second coat when the weather allows. (Tomorrow?) Today added Penetrol to Pettit high build primer with nice results for flow. But, it extended the dry time about four times normal.

Fuel Tank air Gap

Also, even if the tanks were full completely, there would be about a 6" neck from deck flange to tank top. All misspelling the fault of my IPad Tom Averill

To top off the evening we usually enjoy a couple of _decaf_ espressos and biscotti about a couple of hours or so after dinner. Have one of those neat Italian stove-top espresso makers that will make six cups (enough for the two of us and a guest, when aboard). We find biscotti along the way - some of the best came from some small shops in Canada!

The top of the end piece that you pull across tends to come out of the top track. It goes back in easily enough. They require care to pull out and get the magnet fully engaged so they will stay shut; not really something you want to do frequently. But all in all they do the job. Good luck. Tom Mai Pehn Rai

leaky loops
Fri, Dec 6, 2013 12:49 PM
In two instances they leak through the check valve out the top. So much so that I replaced the ones on the wet exhausts of the auxilary Yanmar and Onan generator with Forespar plastic loops. Now I notice the blackwater discharge from Sealand pumps causing other Groco loops to 'spit" a bit out the top of the loop. Very undesirable.

Re: T&T: T&T ANCHOR LIGHTS

She has a mast of 13 ft and when mounted on the flybridge the top is 27 feet above the water line. The anchor light sits on the top of the mast and projects 360 degrees. The yardarm has two spreader lights which illuminates the aft cabin deck. This arrangement has been certified by Lloyds of London as well with our surveyor and insurance company.

Switching and high spike in spectrum
Wed, Oct 29, 2014 5:54 PM
My top flowgraph contains following two hierarchical blocks 1) A transmitter flow graph with (tx_time, tx_sob, tx_eob) 2) A receiver flow graph When I run top flowgrpah (without transmitting anything) and observe the FFT of the received signal the spectrum does not contain high spike in the center.
