I am assuming that it doesn't resonate and the sound comes out of the top - or end in my case so the sound wouldn't be muffled. All feedback welcomed. Ron Barr Lady Brookhaven Hatteras LRC 42 Freezing in Fall River MA

Diesel Revolution
Thu, Apr 21, 2005 3:24 PM
I had some blades on a prior boat moderately cupped and it reduced my top RPM a few hundred revolutions. I did not care since I never ran anywhere near top RPM anyway. Rob Brueckner 1972 Hatteras Yachtfisherman

Re: T&T: Thoughts on holding tank outflow placement
Wed, Jan 25, 2006 6:04 PM
In this way when pumping out a vacuum is maintained until all the stuff gets out of the tank. Just tapping off the tank w/o the 'P' would allow the vacuum to break as the top edge of the outlet pipe is exposed. I routed this to the top of the tank and placed my 'Y' valve on top. Then used hosing to get to the pumpout fitting and macerator.

Re: T&T: Changing fuel tank sight gauges
Wed, Jul 27, 2011 4:30 PM
After the levels reached the top of the sight gauges (several inches below the tank tops) we continued filling clear up to the tanks' tops, keeping track of the amount of fuel added after the level went out of sight in the tubes. With a known tank capacity in hand, I was then able to convert each 10-gallon mark into actual remaining gallons in each tank.

[image: image.png] The top ridge line needs to be broken where the vane meets it. If it was there would be three more triangles in the face we are looking down on here. On Thu, 20 Jan 2022 at 12:34, nop head wrote: > Does the triangular vane on the top share edges with the face it sits on?
