Nichole Rathburn: Catherine's Garden opening reception this Thursday at Feast
Wed, Sep 19, 2018 3:32 PM
A picture of a man and a woman always jumps out at me - sitting practically on top of each other, she eternally drinks a cup of coffee while he smokes a never-ending cigarette as they smile from ear to ear for the camera.

Other times we have carried the lap top to town to a cafe or library but I really don't like to schlep it on the dingy and all to town. We anchor most of the time. Pat was told that a hotel in Westport on the Rideau has a wifi so she asked and the boy at the desk gave her the access code!!!! Wonder if he would have done the same for me??????

The loose_route function is not easy to understand. Basically this function checks if a route-set is announced by the client - i.e. if the request contains a route header - as this would indicate that all the routing information is already available and the request can be relayed (as it is usually the case with in-dialog requests).

I did not pick up the skiff in heavy seas--but I did pick up a 10.5 foot inflatable in about 4 foot seas--not easy, but could be done.--it would be easier and safer than trying to attatch and pull aboard a dinghy on snap davits in similar seas--which I would consider extremely dangerous.

Also, the line, for the water level to freely rise and lower, must be open at its end, if not all the time then at least when you are taking a reading. Sounds like you have access to the discharge port.
