It goes on like spreading liquid floor wax with a sponge - very easy and no rubbing. It fills in the pores and keeps it clean and very shiny. I also used it on several smaller boats with equally good results.

Re: T&T: Icemaker recommendation
Fri, Nov 3, 2006 12:26 PM
Consider one of these portable 110V ice makers, like: http://www.windchaserproducts.com/website/specialty/sp_ICM15.htm These are widely available now, at most appliance stores. Plug it in, pour in water, and it makes ice. Won't store though, so you need to put it in a freezer, ice chest, etc. Move it around or store it as needed.

Re: T&T: Simple (?) question about rope
Sat, Feb 17, 2007 6:31 PM
With regular three-strand twisted rope, I've always made the splices by hand, a technique that is easy enough to do but difficult to explain and takes some practice. Splicing braided rope is much easier but requires a splicing needle, the size of which depends on the thickness of the rope.

if you have a website you can upload stuff to, you can easily create a mobile home page with essential links like radars and marine weather... http://site.mobi/ is an easy way to write a simple page (s) that will be compatible with cel phone browsers.
