TWL: Rusty Tanks
Fri, Jun 16, 2000 1:54 AM
I just discovered that I had rust on the top of my fuel tanks, they where painted over rust by the previous owner. Now my job is to scrape the old paint (rust) and treat the metal before I epoxy the top of the tanks. Does somebody have any suggestion about the kind of rust stopper and epoxy to use.

TWL: Used paint/varnish

There are many times when I don't clean a paint can thoroughly before putting the top back on. When I re-use it, I end up with a can that is difficult to seal again. While shopping at Sherwin-Williams for paint I was able to get new empty one qt cans with tops.

Re: T&T: Visual Oil Level Check

Of course the top of the hose will have to be vented for it to work. Subject: T&T: Visual Oil Level Check ...The oil pan has a flexible hose attached to the bottom with a removable cap at the top end for removing the old oil for oil changes.

The unevenness of the tail bands you mentioned is only applicable when viewed from the top of the tail, not below. When viewed from the top youd also notice pale fringing around the bands in a juvie Gos. Joseph Cala Willington
