For those of you who can't support my view, do what my Father and his fishing friends on Long Island used to do - buy new 2 year warranty batteries every year. No problems mon. Ron Rogers

Re: T&T: Propeller Shaft Bearing Temperature
Sun, Jun 18, 2006 5:38 AM
The propeller shaft is about 18 feet long, supported with 2 bearings. The bearings are in air. The substructure adjacent to the bearing had a temp of 65 deg F. The bearings ran a temp of 120 deg F and 110 deg F. The shaft had worn from 1.750" to 1.700" and 1.720".

I note on the Rosepoint website, they are currently beta testing a newer version of CE that will have some nice features and will also be supporting Navionics charts. I've not got enough experience with CE to offer beneficial feedback, so I am not participating in the beta testing.

His website (sorry, no link) even details some of what he did. Hopefully he will chime in but because of his positive experience I ordered samples of both durabak and hercu-liner. The samples which arrived from both are nearly identical and if they set up on a boat as well would make a great deck.

West Marine 2009 catalog

But New England Rope's website claims that their marine lines are made in the US. The West Marine look-alike mooring lines are made in China. We have also purchased pumps and whatnot from Defender, which has fast service and good prices.

You can go to their (Imtra's) website and download a manual with an exploded parts diagram that will help with the teardown and parts id. Imtra also has pretty good tech support for this. Hope this helps. Brent Hodges Seabrook, Tx On Sun, Nov 3, 2013 at 5:58 AM, LAL wrote: > Randy is sooooooooooo right.
