Re: [time-nuts] 10 MHz Distribution Amp

Solomon Subject: [time-nuts] 10 MHz Distribution Amp To: time-nuts@febo.com Date: Thursday, 12 November, 2009, 18:20 A friend of mine is looking for an inexpensive way to distribute his 10 MHz T-Bolt signal to other instruments. The TAPR unit, while very nice, is a tad on the pricey side when you add in the enclosure.

XOR frequency doubler question 5/10 Mhz
Fri, Feb 20, 2015 2:49 PM
Experimenting with a 74ls86 XOR doubler for 5 to 10 Mhz. Typically this would use a 90 degree phase shift to the other gate. The gate acting as a mixer to produce 10 Mhz.

Re: [time-nuts] Coarse adjustment of PRS-10 with 5335A
Mon, Sep 2, 2013 4:09 PM
Hi Ok, you are fine with the 10 MHz reading on the 5335 to get things "sort of close". Once you get past about 1.0x10^-10 you may want to switch over to a pps based approach. More or less: Fire up 5335 with pps from gps / gpsdo and from the PRS-10. (I'm assuming it's a GPSDO) Watch the reading for a few seconds, record the average and the time.
