I have also used "Brightside" and "Easy Posy". I did my motor home with this one part 3 years ago and it still looks good. Certainly the one parts are easier and cheaper. I feel that a very good professional has to spray the Awlgrip. (My cal 46 looked better than new when I had this done prior to selling her, and certainly got top dollar).

The secret to a safe and easy tranny removal and replacement is to have two special "rails" fabricated from approximately foot-long bolts with their hex heads cut off and a screwdriver slot cut in their ends. They replace the top bolts on either side of the tranny after you remove the originals.

One could also add a moon pointer (and all the rest of the planets too). Sort of a geocentric Orrery. The planets would need to be able run in both directions to accommodate retrograde apparent motion.

In the old days, the specs for DACs and ADCs were easy to understand, at least after you figured things out, and all the major vendors had app-notes explaining what the parameters meant. There was INL, DNL and a few buzzwords like no-missing-codes and monotonic. Ballpark of 20 years ago, things got much more complicated.

Disabling GPSDO detection would actually be pretty easy to do; adding an option to [3] would do that, but there's nothing in place to allow you to disable it right now.
