Go to an electronics shop and ask to use the correct die and crimper. I've tried alternatives and they do not last. If you can take the antenna to the shop, that would best. Meanwhile - as did the P.O, I yank and jiggle my 22 lbs Bruce on it's rode (all nylon) Oh yeah, I have a kedge which is really a piece of anchor chain from a WWII landing craft something or another, weighes at least 40 lbs and holds me wherever - whenever...
