The net effect was that when the boat went down into a wave troff the boat tended to broach to one side or the other (flip a coin - not predictable). The boat could also not be backed into a slip easily despite the bow thruster. This boat lmost cured me of ever owning a Trawler!!!

The other side of this coin is what we call "bottom feeders".These are the folks who will find a decent boat and then hammer away at the seller for his last nickel. Sometimes they are more concernd with price than with condition of a boat. The problem stems from buyers being liars just as much as sellers AND some brokers.

Good points made - no income for the company, However on the other side of the coin - look at Agilient having available all of the old HP manuals for download even though there is no income to them. I wonder if it was a requirement of them to supply HP manuals when they absorbed HP.
