And that the ISS is just a thick extrusion, and the bottom is parallel to the top? > > Disadvantages to a 62 type bustle are the need to rethink rudder placement > and size, as well as to increase the size of steering gear. Ah! I thought that this might be problematic.

Purifiner Oil Bypass Filters
Sat, May 29, 2004 2:59 AM
The one on the engine showed heavy oil feedback through a vent hose on the top of the filter which ran to the crankcase breather intake. So much oil was "returned" that the engine simulated oil "blow-by." There appeared to be an adjustable valve on the engine next to the oil pressure sender and where the hose to the bypass filter was plumbed.

Other than the time The Admiral stomped on the lever on top that presses the line into the gypsy, locking it in there so hard that it broke the stripper plate (replacement was $6.00 I think) it has worked flawlessly. They are made in a very modern new factory in Italy -- see the Bill P. and Steve DeA.'

Michael, I'm assuming you have electric cooking; if propane, just get a good old-fashioned stove-top percolator, they make great coffee. We line our perc's basket with a paper coffee filter to filter out the finer bits of grounds and make cleaning easier.
