The adults were actively digging into several dead trees. one spent some time at the top of cut off end of a tree digging.

Today from noon to 12:20 hundreds of birds moved rapidly through my yard at tree top level. It had been raining for about an hour and the calls of Eastern Kingbirds alerted me to the odd event.

Initial seatrials, with the >optional Volvo D-4 210hp engines, show a top-end speed of 23 knots, >and a very comfortable cruise speed between 14-16 knots with 8.5 to >9.7 gals per hour total fuel consumption! I added 24' of serpintine 5/16 tubing to the top of the fridge portion and attached it to the out put of the plate, so I have two seperate systems in the fridge. If one ever goes bad I can run with the other............. . .

In going back to the Nordhavn website and comparison with the Kady Krogen, I note that the KK Whaleback 48 and Manatee are no longer in production--that the emphasis is on the long range cruising boats. Obviously both companies are betting on the "dream" of long range cruising.

Steve is so customer oriented that a minor suggestion by me resulted in an immediate addition to the drawings he displays on the SuperMax website to make anchor selection/fitting a bit easier. His advice was invaluable in my final selection.
