An Encouraging Year with Vendors

If you admire small businesses you will put the Super MAX bunch near the top.
I had a pivoting #16 from the previous manufacturer with bent shank from fluke to chain by about thirty degrees. It had found a ledge.
I contacted Steve and over a couple days of conversations, which included the original owner, I got a new anchor for freight. Wow.
Mr. Beford’s professionalism and community spirit is heartening. We can argue ROI’s and economies of scale all day but I will bet a dollar against a donut that if my first stop was a call center I know I could never had the personal contact and exemplary service I enjoyed.
This is a part of Steve’s response to me:
"Actually in a "weird" sort of way, I am proud of the anchor! It held you in a significant situation and did not break or release from the set. Kept you and your vessel safe. I am also proud of the new modifications we made (I think you will be as well once you see the top strap). It is much bolder and stronger against any bending."
So, a superior anchor and a superior vendor. It is nice to see

Steve is so customer oriented that a minor suggestion by me resulted in an immediate addition to the drawings he displays on the SuperMax website to make anchor selection/fitting a bit easier.
