Hello All, I need to remove the old name from the boat to make room for the new name. Black paint on white fiberglass gelcote. It seems to me that I read some where that using Easy Off oven cleaner works best, but it needs to be unscented variety. Do I have the facts straight, and is there anything special I should know about, about doing this project.

Thank you all for your answers. I did not spell out I have a manual, the original paper book and some PDF file versions, but not the one I need. Now I have it, easy down load from Artek media , very good scan for only 12 USD. And all problems are solved with the help of this manual.
