October 10, 2012 Tacoma, WA – Tacoma City Ballet is excited to announce the newest version of our Photo Scavenger Hunt contests going on now through October 19th. With additional submission opportunities, bonus points for creativity or social media interaction, and more prizes than ever before, this should be the most entertaining Photo Scavenger Hunt yet. Complete contest details can be found on the Tacoma City Ballet Website. Nearly 200 posters for The Haunted Theatre have been distributed throughout Tacoma and the surrounding communities, and you only need a camera, the internet, and some creativity to participate. Points will be awarded for each submission, with additional points available in a wide range of categories, from creatively captioning your photo to composition to interaction on social media. Prizes will be awarded to the top three participants as well as to one winner selected randomly. Posters can be found hanging from community bulletin boards, in the windows of local businesses, and inside libraries and schools. Photos can be submitted through Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, any online photo-sharing site, or by emailing them to Melissa@tacomacityballet.com. The photo submission deadline is Friday, October 19th. Winners will be announced Saturday, October 20th via Tacoma City Ballet’s website and social media outlets. The Haunted Theatre: Backstage Tours and Eerie Dances opens October 20th and will be performed Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through the 28th. Tickets are just $5 per person and are available from Tacoma City Ballet either online at tacomacityballet.com, in person at the TCB office, or by calling 253.272.4219.
