Re: Slow Flowing Hot Water

I suspect not as they were found on heaters where the cold water inlet was at the top of the tank. All marine heaters seem to have the cold supply at the bottom so I expect no tube is needed. If yours does happen to have the cold inlet at the top, this could be the problem.

As an alternative to sight tubes, if you can readily see the tops of your tanks, Tempo makes some mechanical gauges that can be mounted through the top of the tank.

There is a base coat that is three component PU, then the clear top coat, also three component PU. The clear top coat is sacrificial; once you put it all on, you only need to scuff it up and apply another coat or two of clear once a year or so. http://www.fabulainc.com/ Keith _____ Why do "overlook" and "oversee" mean opposite things?

Exterior Teak.....Arrrgh!
Fri, Feb 8, 2008 1:18 PM
I'm slowly switching all my exterior teak over to the Natural product. One nice feature is that you can recoat without sanding if you are doing daily coats. A red 3M pad is a good idea to smooth the surface prior to the last two top coats. You can use the Cetol Gloss as a top coat but I didn't.

Re: T&T: TV Antenna Recommendations

When Powerboat Reports was still around, they tested all the marine omnidirectional TV antennas and the Naval brand came out on top. It's amplified. I've been using one for 8 years or so and have been very happy with it.

Windshild Window Leaks
Wed, Apr 11, 2012 12:11 PM
I don't see it in the catalogues now but squeezing layer after layer into the gap along the bottom and the sides from the outside definitely worked. However, when taking heavy spray, I still get a wee bit of water that has been forced over the top of the glass running down the inside of one window. Any suggestions on how to seal the top?

Supplementary anchor light

I cut some more out of the top so it would get more light and secured the top and bottom of the jug so I could suspend it under the Bimini. I'm sure there are better ways to do this, a mesh container? It's amazing how bright this is and how long it lasts after it sits outside all day.
