John, first of all, I'm glad to see you quit that lousy Senate job and have decided to dedicate your time to a much more pleasurable pursuit. Second, I tried to paint the top coat over primer without changing the tape and when I finally removed the tape the primer was so dried that the tape pulled away parts of the primer/paint layers.

When we cruised the Erie Canal we just left the thing down all the time, but we were never anchoring out at nite. I guess that I could hang my hat on the fact that my anchor light is a required light. This makes no sense at all! The clocks were connected to the WU telegraph line and for a minute before and after the top of the hour all traffic on the circuit would stop. Exactly at the top of the hour they would push a pulse of 50 ? volts or so over the line and it would reset the clock to the top of the hour.

Walk up the incline driveway to the top of the hill and listen to the marsh to the north. If there is no good parking options on the road (OBEY ALL SIGNAGE), then drive into the park, and the driveway will go up to the top. Please: 1) Do not tape the bird, as it will cause confusion amongst birders at the very least.
