big wake barrier out front, but the wakes are still big and constant all day, they die down at night. PATH train is right there into Manhattan, very convenient and runs often and late ($1.75 each way). Jersey City downtown is great, a regular old American "mall" right across the street, lots of restaurants and parks within a couple of blocks.

They seem to appear in both the spring and the fall, lasting about three or four weeks before the die off. According to Dr. John Capinera, Professor of entomology at the Univ. of Florida, "they have a longer gestation period than other insects and the eggs laid in April don't hatch till August."

The cell runs just fine, but the circuits that drive it die. There are tables in the data sheets that pretty well document this. Since these gizmos already have been out in the field for a while, I need to get all the life I can out of them.
