and to top it off,you have to guess how the local cops will interpret "slow speed minimum wake" a 50 footer at 7kts throws minimum wake... once i had a broward sherif waving at me to slow down... he was looking at the larger wake from his 25' center console!

Forums require you to choose to go to the forum, choose a top to read, etc. A miasling list, you just read messages as they come in.

But there is simply not that much spectrum physically suitable for mobile broadband use, even if you allocate it all to wireless carriers -- frequencies below about 500 MHz require antennas too large for practical handsets, and frequencies much above 2 GHz do not carry far enough in open country, or penetrate sufficiently into buildings, natural canyons

If you look at the Chapman section on anchor scope determination, you will see this in that they specifically recommend 7 or 8:1 as a normal scope for ROPE rodes, but "with all-chain rodes, a scope of 3 to 5 is adequate for all normal conditions".
