Re: [CT Birds] FTFLy crowds

When George and I were there on Friday at about 3:00 pm there were about 10 people. We got wonderful views of this most cooperative bird. Where do you get your 364 number? We never signed anything although I did take a membership brochure and plan to send a donation.

The Marbled Godwit flew off about 10:40am, headed south down river, and was last seen flying east across river towards Milford Point. (It might have also turned back and headed toward Short Beach, Stratford. Many happy birders and photographers.

My earliest is 7/10/95, when I had 6 moving after a 7/9 cold front. I had 50+ on 7/20/99 in 2 hours. More recently I had 10 there on July 24, 2019. Any visit I make to the Lighthouse is prompted by a good cold front.
