RE:Big Itchy Marina Rat

I keep Decon on boats which I am not occupying all of the time. There is a risk of Mr Rat crawling into a corner and dieing--but I sure don't want to wake up with one on my head, chewing on my ear. I had one on a sport fisher. We knew about it, but were unable to club it or get it into the open--shooting it was not an option.

Re: T&T: Help find good boatyard on way to Tenn-Tom
Sun, May 27, 2007 10:55 PM
Does anyone -know of a good boatyard that could haul out our boat and replace -transducer in -the Mobile or further north area? >>Snip Karen, We have been in the Mobile area for about 4 months, so have been in a three local boat yards. The gold standard is Dog River Marina and Boatyard. They are at the entrance to Dog River in Mobile Bay.

TWL: Re: All Chain Worth it?

I have dove on our boat when it was bobbing like a cork (and we're a heavy boat) and found nearly all of the chain lying along the bottom. There are also other ways that you can improve your anchor system on the fly such as dangling a weight partway along the line - like a fishing cannonball.
