Re: T&T: Swim Platform Extension
Thu, Oct 7, 2010 2:04 PM
It attaches to the swim platform and is extremely easy to use. We were traveling for 3 weeks and our 15 year old was out and about everyday and it worked extremely well. The owner of the company, Kevin is a great guy and the quality and cost is second to none.

Tablet as chart plotter
Sun, Sep 8, 2013 1:13 PM
Our primary chart plotter is an HP lap top with Open CPN which can drive the autopilot and display the AIS targets. Cristina has a Dell running Open CPN. The iPad is great for a rapid look far down course and for rapid zooming of hazards and anchorages(I do not find it as easy to use for route planning, so I rarely use that function.).

Re: T&T: Boat Detailer in Mobile for Jim Barrentine

Not the top side as that had just been done. 64'. I think it was $900.00. That info is on the boat in St. Thomas and I am back in IN for another week. I have attached a photo for scale. This was done in the water and if you have been to Grand Mariner, at high tide, so are the docks, so the water line was easy to reach.

> The issue was posted in 2014 and the statement was made that > it was "easy to fix". Is it so? No idea, it sounds like Oskar did understand the fix at that time, so hopefully it's true. But we will only know for sure after it's done. ciao Torsten.

Bog Meadow (Audubon Sharon) Alder Flycatcher
Sun, Jun 14, 2015 2:15 AM
The top highlight was a singing Alder Flycatcher, but it is a fairly easy hike up there and a spectacular view. We also has Swamp Sparrows and great looks at a Great Crested Flycatcher at eye level. Thanks to Bob Dixon for coming along on my walk this morning! Patrick Patrick M.
