I am  tired of having to lift my dingy overhead to store on top of my boat's
sun  room.

Does anyone have any experience with ordering and installing an  extended
swim
platform with tracks to carry their dinky?

if so, can  you recommend and inexpensive  one?

We have a 'Dingy Caddy' on our 40' Mainship. It attaches to the swim platform
and is extremely easy to use. We were traveling for 3 weeks and our 15 year
old was out and about everyday and it worked extremely well.

The owner of the company, Kevin is a great guy and the quality and cost is
second to none.

We looked at the SeaWise Davit but didn't go with it as you have to remove and
store your fuel tank (the dingy is stored vertically) and the fact that it was
difficult docking when you couldn't that well when docking.

Here is the info on 'Dingy Caddy'.

Clever idea as long as seas don't get too big and your dockage fees are not
LOA "length over all"...otherwise the davit costs increases with every
dockage.
