I don't want to die trying to see ducks. >> > >> > I ask everyone to be very careful and don't go alone! Or, here's a thought, wait until the water goes down and hope they're still there?

TWL: Maptech, buyer beware
Thu, Mar 27, 2003 2:50 AM
This package is listed as catalog number CDBA on Maptech's website. This coverage area used to be Maptech Chartpack 163 and before that it was Chartpack 15, neither of which is listed on Maptech's site anymore (Maptech's website does not tell you this but you can figure it out if you go to Landfall's website).

TWL:Marine industry and marketing

And my personal favorite . . . as it is one of my pet peeves: "It would behoove the boating industry to stop using fear to sell its products; the pitch is usually something like 'buy this gizmo or you will die'". As for me, I'll tell you that in my 20-odd years of "messing about in boats" I have found that there are some very good "marine" products.

When the boat sits unused for more that one day, all of the water > sitting in the hoses stagnates - the organisms use up all the dissolved oxygen > and then die. The stagnant water begins to stink of hydrogen sulfide as things > in the water die.

I can't find the post about the design and die level issues in a quick search (I've been off line for a few weeks). Bruce, I couldn't find your post about your measurements of my board for the same reason.

You use the unit's ID number, and go into Honeywell's website and set up an account. You then control the device through the Honeywell website. The website then sends commands to the thermostat.
