[Ontbirds] Scugog Twp. - odd migration event
Fri, Aug 14, 2015 4:29 PM
Today from noon to 12:20 hundreds of birds moved rapidly through my yard at tree top level. It had been raining for about an hour and the calls of Eastern Kingbirds alerted me to the odd event.

I added 24' of serpintine 5/16 tubing to the top of the fridge portion and attached it to the out put of the plate, so I have two seperate systems in the fridge. If one ever goes bad I can run with the other............. . .

[Ontbirds] HSR: Holiday Beach Conservation Area (05 Oct 2013) 26 Raptors
Sun, Oct 6, 2013 1:10 AM
Raptor Observations: Slow day for raptors only 26 total raptors counted. I noticed that most of the Sharp-shinned would come through with the droves of Blue Jays. I kept my eyes peeled for Sharpies during those heavy flights. Non-raptor Observations: Today was the day for Jays!
