Sail vs Power
Fri, Nov 5, 2004 1:31 AM
This is on top of the stability of the keel and sails. We anchor out a great deal and the wind resistance of a sailboat is much less than the high cabins of those big trawlers. We live in comfort with great storage - compare a Hunter with an Island Packet and you will see that all sailboats like all powerboats are not equal.

Hi all, I arrived ~ 9:15 am and parked at the end of Bowman. It snowed intermittently all morning but at 11:55 I finally had a great view of this bird at the end of Centre at Evangeline near the top of the 'conical' Red Cedar/juniper there.

Re: T&T: Optima batteries

The two I saw were type 31 red top and blue top. Red is starting and blue is deep cycle OR dual purpose. That's the good news, however, the nomenclature on the blue top that I bought doesn't exactly match that given on the Optima or Sears' websites. Mine says "31M."
