10 MHz -> 16 MHz clock multiplier
Thu, Jan 3, 2013 6:13 PM
One way is to divide by 10 and then multiply by 16. Divide by 10 and then follow by 4 tuned frequency doublers. This should introduce little phase noise. Another way to do it is to divide by 10, then pass the output thru a narrow 16 MHz filter and amplify.

Re: T&T: Link 10 or Link 20 or?

REPLY One of the lesser known details of the Link 10 is the fact you can monitor the voltage of a second battery with the Link 10. There is no need to account for the amp hours in a start battery. All you are really interested in is whether the start batter is up to snuff with full voltage. >From memory I think it's the purple wire that us used.

They are designed to do weird ratio > frequency > conversions so 10 to 12 or 10 to 16 are trivial for them.

It must be 10 micron, Defender has a Racor that's just the right size for an outboard. I installed one over a month ago, and have been using the PRI-G stabilizer- no more problems. Steve Sipe
