10/12 New Haven, Lighthouse Point hawk watch - 259 migrating raptors, which included 114 SS, 63 COOP, 31 BW, 3 BE (2, 1a), 2 PF and smaller numbers of a few other species.
 
Also noted - 12 flocks of Canada Geese totalling c 160 birds, 7 C Loons, 1 Ruby-throated Hummingbird, 1 YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER, c 500 Tree Swalolows, c 1400 Blue Jays, 3 AM PIPITS, 2 DICKCISSELS, 4 PURPLE FINCHES
 
Moderate winds varying from NW to NE, then S at noon. Heavy cloud cover. Thanks to (among several others) Kris Johnson, Denise Jernigan, Janet Mehmel, Bill Sweet, Dana Campbell, Jim Zipp, Paul Desjardins, Jalna Jager
