We have a bunch of microwave gear that needs to be calibrated to factory specs, traceable to NIST per MIL-STD, so I would guess they have to have at least a good rubidium or a GPS locked reference. If I get my GPS working, I would try John's method. He has done a good job documenting it.

Re: [time-nuts] Semi-OT: Hardware for WR-90 waveguide sections?

The shoulder screw is an interesting idea, but I've seen (and taken apart) lots and lots of waveguide over the decades, including brand new stuff from major manufacturers and mil contractors. I've never seen a shoulder screw used. FWIW, -John ================= > Hi, > Not strictly true.

LO phase alignment for multiple B200s
Mon, Dec 14, 2020 3:19 PM
Then use the set_command_time(3.0), set_rx_freq(fc,0) and clear_command_time() for LO phase offset. - 2nd thread: Keep polling the sync_signal, once it receives, use set_time_next_pps(1.0) to synchronize the 2 B200. Once done, I use the set_command_time(3.0), set_rx_freq(fc,0) and clear_command_time() for LO phase offset.

Later is shows how to list the system fonts that are available but choses a different font family This is less helpful than it could be and does not discuss what happens with the font included with the "use" $ fc-list -f"%-60{{%{family[0]}%{:style[0]=}}}%{file}\n" | sort  ...
