>From Dermopolis Alabama to Grand Rivers Kentucky we will be passing 10 locks. Will be exciting to do our part on the trawler. I have fun cooking and Rito handles lines, mechanics etc. Hoping we will get a small side trip along the way. Anyone have a fave they like to stop at in those perimeters?

Follow this to its end; there is a pay ($5 - coins or Visa) parking lot there; some people have been parking outside and walking in, but I've heard different versions of whether that is permitted or not. Good birding, Marcel Gahbauer Montreal QC marcel.gahbauer@utoronto.ca

My 8kw Onan the boat had automatic shut down >provisions for water temp and low oil so I am not too bothered about >that side of the coin. ======================================================= See if you can find an Onan automatic demand panel. I had mine kick in at 100 watts or more wired to the fridge circuit only.

The other tradition that I am not familiar with is the location of silver coins. I know on sailboats (having sailed over 25 years), that they belong under the butt of the mast. However, where do they go on a power boat? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Is it spring here?

I suppose my insurance rates reflect year-round use of the boat, but better that than having wood shrinkage in winter storage that shrinks the planks enough to allow coins to fall through the joints! Or worse, fighting off ice flows in ANY kind of boat. Tomorrow I may just sun bathe in the glare of my new white LPU!

So I quickly created a sample coin shaped part and cut it in half for a test pint. The first print was way too tight and the two half would not join. So I revised the design using KERF, and printed a second version. The second revision didn't fit either, the only change with kerf of .4 was a gap at the bottom of the female dovetail cut outs.
