Re: T&T: A/C Pump Problems
Mon, Jul 9, 2007 11:51 AM
My one-pump-for-5-A/Cs system gets an airlock in the pump impeller over time...apparently all the Hatt LRCs have this problem. Your impeller should have a screw on the top to allow the pump to prime (AKA burp). Remove screw and allow pump to run until you get a VERY strong spray from the hole. Should solve it...(hope its that easy!)

You should almost surely not use this variant as its shipped: they typically come with CR2032 coin cell that is not rechargeable, so you need to disable the charging circuit that is there for use with LiR2032. The charging circuit itself probably doesn't safely work with a LiR2032 either if you run with VCC at 5V (Arduino or something similar).

Re: TWL: flybridge removal
Tue, Sep 4, 2001 12:32 AM
One of the first things to be removed was the fly bridge to allow rebuilding of the Main Cabin top . It was only about 3 hrs work to take off the whole thing - in one piece ! Quite surprising how easy it came off . The top was rebuilt and the fly bridge is now reinstalled - along with new wiring et al ..

Probably from what most people see on the water everyday, (wedding cake boats) you should be able to put almost anything as high as you want on top of the highest deck on the boat and be ok. We see it all the time. The old addage was " one pound up top is equal to five pounds of ballast".

I don't use bleach as Kathy suggests, but I have a spare so the dirty one goes through the dishwasher (top shelf only).  Tears when I have gotten too busy I have taken it down as suggested rather than neglect it.
