Mike- Try "burping" the system. That is, disconnect the outflow hose from the
pump, turn on the unit and then reconnect the outflow hose to the pump.  worth
a try.  Guru told me that some pumps/installations require burping every time
the strainer is cleaned out.. Bob siegel annapolis

Michael,

I agree with Bob. My one-pump-for-5-A/Cs system gets an airlock in the pump
impeller over time...apparently all the Hatt LRCs have this problem.

Your impeller should have a screw on the top to allow the pump to prime (AKA
burp). Remove screw and allow pump to run until you get a VERY strong spray
from the hole. Should solve it...(hope its that easy!)
