Easy to fix (just remove the top and clean out the valves), but still a pain... -al- ----- Original Message ----- From: "badornato" > i cant but i am sure that there is someone out there who has solved this > annoying problem.

Maybe you could like one of the attached examples. I used a 2D-shape and liner_extrude/rotate_extrude to create a sample. Cheers, Marcus

Re: GL: Easy storage of anchor rode
Sun, Jun 3, 2012 6:42 PM
The short length of chain piled on top keeps everything in its place. Rain and spray, or a bucket of water, washes the mud off the line. The rode is 150' long, more than adequate for most East Coast anchorages. Incidentally, my boat has weathered two hurricane near misses and one direct hit with this anchor gear without dragging.

TWL: DD 8V71 alternator mounting bracket
Fri, Jul 14, 2000 3:07 AM
The rear swing mount point bolt broke off and though I was able to get 1/2 of the bolt back out with an easy out, the rest has now broken off. I checked with a Detroit Diesel dealer the part is obsolete Anyone know of a place where these old engines go to die or someone that might stockpile piece parts? Thanks in advance.

Re: TWL: Covers for teak

I guess I can see where the die hard's would like the varnish look better, but with the easy maintenance of the Cetol, it's a very good compromise. What I REALLY can't imagine is painting teak. I can't imagine painted teak being any easier to maintain than Cetol. It still would chip & wear off, but would look much worse when it did.
