Any ideas ? ___________________________________________________________ *COPY* I have an early 60's vintage DD 8v71 that I am looking for a replacement alternator mount. The mount bolts to the block and then the alternator hangs from it. The rear swing mount point bolt broke off and though I was able to get 1/2 of the bolt back out with an easy out, the rest has now broken off. I checked with a Detroit Diesel dealer the part is obsolete Anyone know of a place where these old engines go to die or someone that might stockpile piece parts? Thanks in advance.
