Re: [time-nuts] GPS antenna selection

I'm using a N-->F adapter at the antenna end, that makes it super easy to make a diy F-->F connector cable. I now have installed a quad active antenna splitter (50ohm) , using the same 75ohm cable , and a F-->N adapter at the splitter end. And see no noticable problems using 75ohm cable there. CFO Denmark

Re: Validating GPSDO control loop with simulation and measurement. Is this amount of difference between measurement and simulation to be expected?

The reason I did so was that the modulation, which always occurs as you step back and forth to interpolate, was intentionally moved to as high frequency as possible to make it as easy to filter out variations from as possible.

Quite easy to repair. Another frequent problem is the internal lithium battery, to be replaced every few years. Input Calibration necessary after replacement.

The GB is a great boat, easy to lock through by one. Easy to anchor. All the comforts of home including internet, sat. TV for CNN, TWC, etc. SSB is great when you are out of range and there are lots of "nets" to join or obtain weather. If we can be of any assistance in helping anyone please let us know. We will be monitoring.....Jo/Dave
