Hello All:  I have enjoyed reading the postings tremenduously.  I haven't
completed the loop yet as I spend most of my time in the S. Atlantic, Carib
and Gulf, but make the trip throught the Tenn-Tom twice annualy(once up and
once down).  We have had several boats, and have boated on/off for the past
50 years.  Have a 100 Ton Masters, ASA certification, HAM, etc, all used to
enjoy cruising in our 42' GB Classic.  I really envy those making the loop
and their having the patience for it.  My wife and I have been trying to
retire for the past 10 years but it seems we became too involved in business
to just quit and cruise the way we would like.  However, we did spend 6
months cruising last year (2000) and I spent another two months traveling
alone on the boat, merely because my wife needed to take care of some
business and work on building a new home of her choice.  The GB is a great
boat, easy to lock through by one.  Easy to anchor.  All the comforts of home
including internet, sat. TV for CNN, TWC, etc.  SSB is great when you are out
of range and there are lots of "nets" to join or obtain weather.  If we can
be of any assistance in helping anyone please let us know.  We will be
monitoring.....Jo/Dave
