Turn your free SIP softphone into a voice quality monitoring instrument with Sevana’s NIQA application
Tue, May 11, 2010 6:49 PM
The most complicated task is to find an easy to use and cost effective solution that would provide a perceptual evaluation of voice/speech quality recorded by your SIP-system. However, Sevana NIQA was an easy choice. We decided to use one of the most popular free SIP softphones – pjsip (www.pjsip.org).

Plus you have to have AC for the pressure washer, which some boats don't have at all, or they have to start a generator, or maybe they don't have an inverter with the capacity to run it. Plus you have to store it somewhere, which on some boats is not as easy as on others. ____________________ C.

Metal film resistors are fine for this low noise application & all are low values to keep noise down. The inductors are easy to wind, but I found materials other than moly permalloy powder to be too noisy. Even with MPP material, cores with u>200 are prone to field induced shifts which are unacceptable. Regards, Pete Rawson

We may have all the spare components for normal logic and most analogue, but programmable stuff is fairly easy to restore if you only have the images. EPROMs is not always as stable as the surrounding logic. There will always be unobtainables thought. But for EPROMs it feels so stupid since it is so easy to fix. Cheers, Magnus

Alternately, I have direct DXF export working via OpenPythonSCAD: https://pythonscad.org/ https://github.com/WillAdams/gcodepreview/blob/main/gcpdxf.py if a DXF would work, and you have a very simple example/template w/ all the colours you need it should be pretty easy to add support for colour to that.

I find it not easy to print, it gets elephant feet very easy and for larger rectangular objects it warps too easy. So I had to abandon that project. So I had a about 1.5kg left ... Peter > On 16 Oct 2025, at 17:01, Jon Bondy wrote: > > Beautiful! How much filament, and what did you print it on?
