Hi all, These same type of DEP duck traps have been placed around Stratford for several years - Access Road pool, Duck Pond on Rt 110, etc. I spoke with one of the biologists this summer.

As said before, if too much toxin is taken in, the bird will die. Some Common Loons and other water birds manage to struggle ashore and avoid drowning but may still become cold, paralysed and stop breathing. What I try to do is catch the affected bird, dry it and keep it safe and warm overnight.

The impellers die slowly, not catastrophically. First a blade cracks, then eventually breaks off. Last spring I replaced two impellers (Jabsco 17936-001). It was five years and about 650 hours. The first was perfect...and I thought .."I just wasted $80".

People who are thrown into cold water with little warning and who are over about 60 or so, generally die within minutes, and not from drowning. A couple more points of clarification. The bar was not closed, it was restricted.

By the way, if you can't spell (BUOY) and have to spell it "bouy" which is not a valid spelling, you will not die, or dye, as even that has been fixed, for those of you who can't yet spell. Don't ask how this problem was overcome...

I will keep the house and start banks completely separate, but if the start battery should die out on the water I can start the generator (with its own battery) to charge the start battery via the start battery charger or use heavy duty cables to jump from the house bank to the start battery. I think it should all work out. Thanks again.

We just had one usrp n210 die on us. We traced it down to a failing power supply (the usrp was a few years old). It couldn't supply the needed 3 amps any more. When we opened up the supply, we found an expanded capacitor.
