We viewed it for approximately 10 minutes before it flew away. Returned for a brief visit @ 1:05 pm, this was its last appearance prior to this report.

My Dad and I visited Presqu'ile Park today and made the following sightings of interest: 2 Horned Grebes, one near High Bluff Island, one at Lighthouse Point;  2 Tundra Swans, behind #10 Bayshore Drive; 1 Bonaparte's Gull, Lighthouse Point; 3 Dunlin in one group on the south shore of Gull Island, near the isthmus connecting it to the mainland; 1 Snowy Owl, on

I observed a male Painted bunting from 8:10 until dusk at the home of Ken and Lianne Atwood near Huntsville. The bird went into a spruce tree directly behind there house and had been coming to their feeder all day today apparently. It also favours a burn pile in their yard. If you visit walk down the driveway and around to the rear of the house.
