My Dad and I visited Presqu'ile Park today and made the following sightings of interest: 2 Horned Grebes, one near High Bluff Island, one at Lighthouse Point; 2 Tundra Swans, behind #10 Bayshore Drive; 1 Bonaparte's Gull, Lighthouse Point; 3 Dunlin in one group on the south shore of Gull Island, near the isthmus connecting it to the mainland; 1 Snowy Owl, on the little islet just north of Gull Island; 1 Red-bellied Woodpecker, on the hydro pole beside #32 Bayshore Drive; 4 Pine Grosbeaks, 3 near #18 Bayshore Drive, and 1 in a cherry tree (eating the fruits) across from #72 Bayshore Road.
