53 species on Wolfe Island

Hi birders: Oct. 17/03, Gerald & Shirley Paul birding most of Wolfe Island
west of Marysville (the ferry berth) in the morning identified 53 species
including: 10 Tundra Swans, White-winged Scoters, American Bittern, 14
Northern Harriers, a first year light phased Broad-winged Hawk, 3 American
Kestrels, 4 Tree Swallows, 6 Yellow-rumped Warblers, 7 species of sparrow
including 500+ White-crowned Sparrows, and a first-year female Baltimore
Oriole.
