“I am so excited to work with this team of top-notch local actors and designers, all of whom I have worked with before in some capacity.  It is really a treat to bring together a group that you already feel comfortable with and confident in at the starting gate.”

Lectrsan repair
Mon, Aug 18, 2008 9:21 PM
What can you all tell me about repairing an older Lectrsan unit? I don't know the year, but nothing works when the switch is turned on. Also there appears to be a small leak at one fitting on the top. Any advice would be appreciated. Jay

Freeze 12 - direct replacement for R12 freon
Sun, Mar 8, 2009 3:50 AM
I used to use a can or two of that all the time in the wife's old Dodge and it worked fine. Now if somebody would come up with a similar product that replaces R-22 I could top off the boat's units when they need it! Jim @Home

Once you get it all apart, replacement of the IC is no big deal, but what a PITA to get to it. I vaguely recall posting the whole story on that website that has big coverage of the Z3801A - I can't remember the name, since I haven't been there in a while, but it should be easy to find.

CT Birding Books
Mon, Mar 26, 2012 12:15 AM
All- I was looking to pick up a few CT specific books and came across the link on the website. I'm specifically interested in breeding sites, but more information never hurt. I notice that all of the books are ~15+ years old, so I'm wondering if most/all of the information contained on sites is still accurate?
